My Message
Amit Kapoor, MD
My approach to medicine is grounded in prevention, clinical rigor, and long-term outcomes. Throughout my career, I have seen the consequences of delayed intervention—particularly in cardiovascular disease and metabolic dysfunction—conditions that often develop silently over many years. These experiences reinforced my commitment to practicing preventive medicine that is proactive, data-driven, and individualized.
As I join ARA Integrative and Functional Medicine, my clinical focus is on cardiovascular risk reduction through early identification of modifiable risk factors, comprehensive metabolic evaluation, and evidence-based intervention. Preventing disease progression requires attention not only to traditional markers, but also to hormonal balance, inflammation, insulin resistance, and lifestyle contributors that significantly influence long-term cardiovascular health.
When male hormone replacement therapy is appropriate, I prescribe and manage it using established clinical guidelines, careful patient selection, ongoing laboratory monitoring, and close supervision to ensure both safety and efficacy.
My goal is to deliver medicine that is precise, preventive, and scientifically sound—integrating conventional clinical evidence with a functional understanding of disease processes. By intervening early and treating the whole patient, I aim to help individuals achieve durable health outcomes while reducing the risk of preventable chronic disease.
